I see you are looking to install a patch for the Deskjet 722c for Windows 7. I was able to come across a thred solved by Bob_Headrick that may help you. DESKJET 722C DRIVER FOR WINDOWS 7, in his reply he links to his thread for installing the patch.

However when I dialed into my C drive HP files, and ran the HP Extract.exe file, I got a message saying the «File is not compatible». Compatible with what?
Mainly — what do I now download to cure this problem.

You have a previous version of Nero still on your computer. Go to:
and use the appropriate clean tool to completely remove your previously installed version of Nero and then you won’t have any more problems.

Printer stopped working so I uninstalled it. Multiiple attempts to download the driver failed at the extraction stage with the error message «Extraction Failed: can not delete output file». I’ve seen similar issues from other users on this forum but don’t understand the solutions given. Can an HP person please direct me to the specific steps required to overcome this head-banger?

HP LaserJet M1132
Три года у меня МФУ М1132. С самого начала не было окончательной установки: или с диска, или с сайта. Вынужден был останавливать установку, но он работал и сканер, и принтер, и копир. Через некоторое время всё это слетало, устанавливал заново… И всё это происходило в течении примерно трёх лет. Сначала у меня была 7-ка виндоус, а затем переустановил 10-ку! С МФУ ситуация не изменилась! А с недавнего времени, происходит то, что я озвучил в вопросе. Постарался очистить компьютер от всех приложений и файлов HP, менял шнур – ничего!

When you tried to install HP Printer driver, and you got «can not delete output file» error. I guess the article HP LaserJet installation won’t start on Windows 10 created by @ShlomiL might help you. HP Installation may already extract but didn’t launch the installation. You can m anually launch the installation wizard by find the installation file in you hard drive. e.g. HP LaserJet Pro P1102 / P1566 / P1606: The installation file might be C:\LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution\HpSetup.exe
