I can’t verify Syndicate game files using Uplay. «can’t verify game files, please reinstall..» but reinstalling is not a solution.
if UPlay failed to verify game files then there is something wrong in installation and most probably its the cause of your crashes, so first things first, lets repair your game installation by doing the following:
1. Copy the game to a different folder/drive.
2. Uninstall the game from UPlay.
3. Restart UPlay as admin.
4. Click on «Download» button in the game window.
5. when it prompts you for install location, browse to where you copied the game to in step 1.
6. UPlay will discover game files and only download necessary corrupted ones.
7. once finished, play the game and see if it crashes, if yes then verify game files.
if it still doesn’t work, try this:
close UPlay and go to this folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\logs (or whichever drive you installed to)
Delete all text files there, open UPlay and try to verify game files and let it fail, then navigate back to that folder and open these files:
Scroll down to the end and see what is the error posted in these two logs.

Thank you for information. Game is stable. Removing, downloading, copying to another folder and redownloading doesn’t help. I can’t verify files after installing. service log is empty, launcher_log :

I just made another uplay account and activated Tom clany’s Rainbowsix siege Standard edition. But on my previous uplay account i had it connected to the steam version of rainbow six siege. Do i have to reinstall the game on uplay for this new account to work or is there a way that i can locate the game files and just open it with uplay/new account.

If you were previously playing on Steam and you’ve now bought the Uplay version you will need to install the Uplay version as they’re managed differently. Hope this helps!

I have a steam version Rainbow 6 siege.
Now if I receive an uPlay verion game key, do I need to download the whole game again as well?
I couldn’t locate the game files from uPlay. Game is in a steam folder and uPlay couldn’t find the files from there.
I got it resolved.
I just hit the Download button and saved the game to the same Steam folder, where the game was already installed.
It started verifing the files and downloaded 500mb before completing it all in 15 minutes.
Hope this helps anyone who faces the same problem in the future.

My main account is now asking for activation.
I tried doing what you suggested to do. It may have actually f up my main account and now when try opening my main account it’s now asking for activation codes. Note: I bought my second siege in uplay directly. and i main account I bought in steam.
Its not your fault tho, it’s entirely mine, I just don’t know what to do now. But before doing all that I managed to save another copy of the first siege from my steam library. Now I tried doing revert to cloud save, still asking for activation.

I actually did the same as you but opposite. I downloaded the free weekend through uplay and later purchased it through steam.
I moved the uplay download files to the steam directory and after a 5MB update it worked. Surely there is a way to reverse this.
There is. But it’s tricky.
You need to have the files from the steam map in the same map as where the files you would download the game through Uplay would go. Then when you start the download, Uplay «discovers» those files as files you had already downloaded.
