How To Fix ERROR STATUS SEC AUTH FILE NEEDED on MTK secure Boot device
For some of us who like taking the laws of flashing MTK phones into our hands, this tutorial on how to fix ERROR STATUS_SEC_AUTH_FILE_NEEDED (0xc0030012) error and others is for you.
With Mediatek secure devices comes a lot of popular terms and fears. Servicing MTK secure boot devices actually needs care unless you’re like us who want to see the other side of the story first.
The last one is why we are going to stick around here for a while.
If you accidentally formated an MTK secure boot device like Tecno LA7 or an Infininx etc, you will end up not only needing a DA FILE, SP Flashtool will request for an auth file to be able to continue.
These auth/authentication files for MTK devices are very rare and almost impossible to get for every device out there.
So, this is a short guide to help you fix a dead MTK secure boot device after bricking it by formating the device.
The ERROR STATUS_SEC_AUTH_FILE_NEEDED (0xc0030012) error is shown when you format a secured boot MTK device.
Newer MTK chipsets come with more security and these kinda give issues if done without care.
So, if you get error related auth file for SP Flashtool, this could be your lucky day.
To make this as simple as possible, we wouldn’t complicate the steps.
This tutorial will work for your MTK devices that are completely dead after formating with any tool, Miracle box, SP Flash tool, NCK etc.
How to Fix ERROR STATUS SEC AUTH FILE NEEDED on MTK secure Boot device
You can now happily disconnect your bricked MTK device and charge it or power it on if it was charged.
Note, you don’t need a DA file or Auth file to get this to work.
After this, you will need to repair/write back the IMEI on the secured boot MTK device using this tutorial. You can check the IMEI using *#06# to confirm.

Народ, посодействуйте, у кого есть аппарат на руках, попробуйте слить разделы devinfo и recovery с помощью flashtool для продвижения по теме смены ID.
1. Распаковываем архив 
U10-flashtool.zip ( 52.98 МБ )
2. Устанавливаем драйвера из папки drivers
3. Запускаем flash_tool.exe из папки flashtool, ничего не меняем
4. Переходим на вкладку Readback, ставим галки на devinfo и recovery, далее по каждому их них 2 клика, указываем куда сохранить образы
5. Нажимаем «Read Back» и подключаем выключенный аппарат к компьютеру (зажимать клавиши громкости не нужно, если не получится так, вероятнее всего данный метод не сработает)
6. Сливаем полученные файлы в тему
devinfo.img ( 1024 КБ )devinfo.img ( 1024 КБ )recovery.img ( 30 МБ )
8. Нажимем Write Memory
9. Подключаем выключенный смартфон к компьютеру, ждем пока не появится кружок с галочкой
10. Готово, ваш смартфон готов к официальной прошивке на глобальную версию

6. Подключаем выключенный смартфон к компьютеру, пробежит красная полоса, затем желтые (как обычно), ждем пока не появится кружок с галочкой

Помогите разобраться! Не могу поставить международную версию, всё сделал как описано выше, установил драйвера, сначала сменил ID на международный, всё прошло без проблем! А вот «Прошивка аппарата на 5.2.3.0G через SP FlashTool» не получилась. В 6 пункте после красной полоски выскакивает сообщение «Pmt changed for the rom; it must be downloaded» Прошивка не грузится, почитал в интернете пишут что нужно как полностью форматировать телефон. но как то сцыкатно получить кирпич. что посоветуете?

При смене ID вылетел с ошибкой, теперь телефон не запускается, как Preloader больше не определяется, висит на МТК.
Есть идеи по реанимировавнию?
Как вернуть родной прелоадер?
Update: телефон пролежал ночь, на утро все прошло. Видимо АКБ разрядился полностью и теперь все Ок. Так что ложная тревога.

i used different version of sp flash from ( SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1524.00.000 to SP_Flash_Tool-5.1916_Win)

I have a tecno 12 cc7. I have been trying to backup it using so flash tool and miracle box, but every time I connect the phone, it gives an error and starts charging offline. I have reinstalled all mtk drivers, and checked that it is off. After unlocking the bootloader and installing TWRP on my OUKITEL K6000 Plus I was trying to install madOS, but unfortunately my phone went into Orange State bootloop. I could not enter fastboot anymore, and at some point even Recovery stopped to work. My phone was almost dead. I was looking for solutions but actually there was no clear guide how to revive a patient. I found that many people have similar issue so when I finally managed to resurrect my K6000 with original stock ROM I decided to share my solution.
Here’s the fix:
1. Google for ‘Techprolonged MediaTek MT65xx USB VCOM Drivers’. Using the guide you will find install MediaTek DA USB VCOM Port Drivers via Device Manager (step 5). Do this even if you already previously installed MediaTek USB VCOM Drivers. This is very important to install this DA version of drivers, otherwise you may have problems with uploading stock ROM via SP Flash Tool.
2. Install SP Flash Tool if you don’t have it yet. You can find it easily with google.
3. Download original stock K6000 Plus ROM V6.0. You can find it easily on needrom website (NOTE: you have to create an account on needrom if you don’t have it yet). Unpack it.
4. Launch SP Flash Tool, go to Options->Option. in Connection settings change USB speed to Full speed and Battery to with battery. Close Option window.
5. In SP Flash Tool go to Download tab, click on choose right next to Scatter-loading file field, navigate to the folder where you unpacked previously downloaded stock K6000 Plus ROM V6.0. Open MT6750_Android_scatter.txt file.
6. In open menu choose Download Only if it’s not selected by default. All fields below should have tick enabled. I mean for ‘preloader’, for ‘recovery’, etc.
7. Unplug your phone from PC if it’s connected. Shut down your phone by clicking and holding for approx 10 secs ALL THREE BUTTONS: VOL UP + VOL DOWN + POWER. If you do this properly, your phone should not self-boot into Orange State anymore.
8. In SP Flash Tool click Download icon (the one with green arrow), all the fields should become inactive.
9. Using one hand only click and hold at the same time VOL UP + POWER button.
10. Now, while you still hold these buttons, you have to connect your phone to PC (plug in micro USB cable into your phone). VERY IMPORTANT: If you have STATUS_BROM_CMD_SEND_DA_FAIL (0xC0060003) error after you connect it means you don’t have DA version of MediaTek driver properly installed (step no. 1).
11. Your phone should start to flash up and you should see the progress in SP Flash Tool status bar. You can release VOL UP and POWER button now. The process may take long time, for me it was more than 1 hour. The longest part was flashing up the [system]. The good thing is you can observe the progress during whole process.
12. When flashing process is end you will see a small window with the information about completion. Now you can unplug your phone, and launch it with POWER button. You should still see the Orange State message but right after that your phone should boot up into normal mode with freshly uploaded original stock ROM. Congratulations!
Hopefully this will also fix your K6000 Plus and maybe even other models.
