Hi, I encountered the same problem while trying to access school work.
Look in the top right, and log out of whatever account is signed into it.
You should be able to access teams properly from then on.

The issue is that you have a personal Microsoft Account that matches a domain name that is registered as a tenant in O365. Incognito browser, login in to microsoft.com/account with the email that is not working.
Go to your Info, add new DIFFERENT email address that is not a Microsoft account with your org (consider a new outlook account if you want or a gmail).
Go to that email and confirm it.
Make that new email primary.
Remove the old email from the account.
This is not a right solution. No one would set such policies for people to change emails.
I just solved this on my own.
For me personally, it’s because I was connected to a previous work account and school account that I was no longer using.
Start menu > Settings > Accounts > Access work or school
From there, it shows all my other accounts affiliated with me. Click the 3 dots on the right and remove any ones that are not the one you are currently using.
It no longer asked me to sign in, and it no longer was giving me that error.

I have tried everything shown on this page to fix this problem.
I already accessed the roaming directory and deleted everything as suggested by SharonShao-MSFT
I uninstalled the app and installed it again twice. I logged out every account of mine on the azure website.
non of these have worked at all. I’m unable to take my classes because of this. I would deeply appreciate it if anyone can instruct me about what to do.

It recommends you delete your Teams client cache as the following steps:
1. Fully exit the Microsoft Teams desktop client. To do this, either right click Teams from the Icon Tray and select ‘Quit’. Or run Task Manager and fully kill the process.
2. Go to File Explorer, and type in %appdata%\Microsoft\teams.
3. Once in the directory, delete any file in the following folders:
%appdata%\Microsoft\teams\application cache\cache
%appdata%\Microsoft\teams\blob_storage
%appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Cache
%appdata%\Microsoft\teams\databases
%appdata%\Microsoft\teams\GPUcache
%appdata%\Microsoft\teams\IndexedDB
%appdata%\Microsoft\teams\Local Storage
%appdata%\Microsoft\teams\tmp
If it is no luck after that, you could uninstall and reinstall the Microsoft Teams client and have a try.

It seems that your user ID is still trying to authenticate with the previous tenant. Can you try login into Teams web client, keeping your browser in private or incognito mode?
I am having really bad experience with microsoft teams. Every time I login I get this message. I want to know why this message is popping at my screen. Is my microsoft account working properly. Resolving issues signing in with AWS credentials
