I tried to start The Crew for the first time, and got this error:
«File corrupted. This program has been manipulated and maybe it’s infected with a Virus or Cracked. This file won’t work anymore.»
Nothing I do helps.

i am using uplay in windows 10 and i have Avira Internet Security

just got the same issue, i wanted to play today and i got the error file corrupted, i bought it on steam and it worked fine until now
just to know, i got avast and it was updated yesterday, but any effort i do to solve it wont work.

hmmm, maybe avast triggered a file. Can you find out what file exactly is being targeted and if avast has any reports for it?

I installed the game yesterday and when I start the game, this error comes: «File corrupted! This program has been manipulated and maybe it’s infected by a Virus or cracked. This file won’t work anymore.
I have reinstalled the game, I have reinstalled Uplay, but it doesn’t help.
What to do to get the game work?

It was problem with F-Secure and added the path for Trackmania to F-Secure settings.
try to disable your antivirus and your firewall.

Just to double-check, are you referring to the path that Sikaroope mentioned? If it is indeed then all you need to do is simply ensure that Trackmania is not blocked by your antivirus software by whitelisting it and problem should no longer occur!

I am having the same problem but it is for my whole Ubisoft, is there any fix for this?
That said, can you give me a bit more information about what is happening? For example:
• What happens when you try to run one of our games?
• Do games from other developers work fine?
• If this happens when running Ubisoft games using Ubisoft Connect, can you try running any Ubisoft games you might happen to own via Steam or Epic? Don’t worry if you don’t own any.
With this information, I might be able to suggest some other troubleshooting we could try

upc.exe File Corrupted! Uplay PC will not start, ticket is 4 days old and no response
I’ve been trying to install Uplay PC so I can play division 2 all week. Whenever it launches I receive the error from upc.exe: File corrupted! This program has been manipulated and maybe it’s infected by a Virus or cracked. This file won’t work anymore.
I have downloaded, installed as admin, run as admin, uninstalled, installed in different locations, cleaned all Ubisoft and uplay pc files from my machine. I’ve even downloaded an old version of the uplay launcher, which starts up, then immediately updates to the latest version and proceeds to give me the error. I cannot play any games because of this. I’ve been through various forum posts, none of which have working solutions.
My ticket number is: 08378568 and is well past the 48 hour SLA. Going on 4 days here. This seems to be an old issue but everyone had a different solution, none of which worked for me. Any assistance out there? Dying to get my games going.

Срочно. Стал жертвой Фемиды (Themida). Нужен совет.
Сегодня всё было как обычно. Решил начать день с проверки почты. Запустил The Bat, а в ответ тишина. Только вот такое окошко:

До почтовых ящиков не добраться. Да и писем, в которые я иногда заглядываю (вспомнить логин и пароль разных сервисов) не посмотришь.
За советом обратился к Google. Информации собирал буквально по крупицам.
Про Themida из Google – ничего не ясно
Themida – это мощная система защиты, разработанная для программных разработчиков, которые хотят защитить свои приложения против продвинутого обратного инжиниринга и взлома программ. Разработчикам не придется менять что-либо в своих кодах или в программировании, чтобы защитить свои приложения с помощью Themida.
Стал вспоминать что я делал с компьютером.
Больше никаких мыслей в голову не приходит.

Уверяю, в день когда распространился конфикер, у нас в магазинах стоял лицензионный нод (3 магазина), свежеобновленный (я специально обновлял перед лечением зараженных машин), который был не в состоянии даже детектировать эту дрянь. Со злости был снесен и поставлен обновленный касперский, который с легкостью его вычистил конфикер и сообщил о существующих уязвимостях.
Пока у вас установлен аваст, вы в неведении. Увы, популярность и авторитет Аваст заработал только лишь благодаря грамотной рекламе, как и в случае с НОД32.
К тому же, антивирус, который спокойно позволяет ПО редактировать в реестре ключи в HKLM\software\microsoft\windows nt\current version\winlogon\userinit (к примеру) адекватным считаться не может. Касперский в этом случае эвристикой ловит процесс и выдает запрос на разрешение. Одно только это уже позволяет отловить неизвестные вирусные тела.
