Ulead Media Studio 8.0. Катастрофа!!
После перустановки WIN XP Pro и инсталяции UMS 8.0, ранее созданые проекты перестали открываться. Пишет: не может найти файл, проверьте имя и местонахождение. Иногда с другими проектами: не может загрузить стринг.
Правда, при установки системы, поменялись буквенные обозначения дисков, я вернул их прежние буквы, но проблема осталась.
ой, а у меня тоже катастрофа.
нашла папку с этими видео в папке программы и (на всякий случай) скопировала (не перенесла) в папку samples.
при загрузке программы ошибка пропала, но при попытке открыть эти файлики в программе пишет то же самое. когда же я указываю путь к файлу, получаю в ответ:
Unable to open file (адрес файла)
File format mismatch.
[16803:1:2]
почему?? ведь это же ее файлы.
PS ставила на комп и на ноут
комп не старый, свежеапгрейднутый, премьера про 1.5 летает!! ноут тоже свежий. т.е. с железом проблем быть не должно.

не думаю, что паленая. качала с форума, там негативных отзывов не было.
конечно, проблема с этими улидовскими файлами не критичная. не думаю, что они мне понадобятся, но все равно хотелось бы, чтобы full версия работала на полную.
поставилась она с какой-то ошибкой, не успела запомнить (((
Можно попробовать не удаляя запустить установку и запомнить ошибку если она будет.
Это всё из за (версии) изменённого установщика, наверное меняли директорию установки?

Там должны быть видео файлы формата MPG, скорей всего ошибка при установки как раз и была при установки MPG кодека.
а как узнать, что с кодеками? какие вообще нужны в системе и какие нет?
что бы это значило?
директорию установки не меняла. изменила только папку для проектов и временных файлов.
насколько я успела полазить по программе, не работает «захват видео» (но у меня и не с чего захватывать, хотя вроде бы есть чем. )
пока писала сообщение, поставила заново программу с образа диска.
поставилось больше всякого разного, чем раньше (раньше ставила не с образа, а просто из папки. возможно неполной)
ошибка появилась прежняя, но теперь программа открывает свои видеофайлы.
а можно про кодеки подробней?
я даже примерно не представляю, какие мне нужны, а какие нет.

Краткая инструкция по работе Corel VideoStudio в 2014 году на ОС Windows 7
Поэтому желательно уставноить две версии Corel VideoStudio 12 и Ulead VideoStudio 11, поскольку в 12 версии Corel уже успел нагадить. (10 версия уже не дружит с интерфейсом Windows Aero)
Устанавливать необходимо версию скачанную с официального сайта Corel:
с вводом серийного номера, БЕЗ использования каких либо активаторов и патчей!
Также обязательно необходимо установить Контент пак для каждой версии программы, его также можно загрузить с официального сайта Corel
Ещё можно установить два сервис пака с сайта корел:
ОДНАКО Я ИХ СТАВИТЬ НЕ СТАЛ, и так вроде всё отлично работает на 7-ке. А то глядишь ещё чего испортит (чем меньше в версии программы лазили программисты Corel после программистов ULEAD тем лучше).
1. Открываем проект смонтированный в Corel VideoStudio 12 в программе Corel VideoStudio 12.
2. Сохраняем проект для Corel VideoStudio 11 (да-да в списке Тип файла, окна сохранения проекта написано именно Corel, причём для 10 версии тоже, к которой корел не имел ни какого отношения)
3. Открываем сконвертированный таким образом проект в Ulead VideoStudio 11 Plus и сохраняем на всякий случай непосредственно из этой программы под новым названием типа Название проекта+save from VS11 (чтобы потом не запутаться в версиях проекта).
4. Если в проекте был Overlay с применёнными масками, то маски придётся восстановить вручную.
5. Чтобы вывести фильм перейдите на вкладку Share и нажмите Create Video File
После этого программа зависнет минут на 10, вместо того чтобы открыть меню с выбором формата вывода фильма, поэтому хотя визуально после нашего нажатия ни чего не произошло, оставляем компьютер в покое приблизительно на 10 минут до того как откроется меню с выбором формата вывода фильма. (Опять же не разворачиваем другие программы по верх, иначе это приведёт к полному зависанию программы)
Как только появится меню с выбором форматов вывода фильма, выберите Same as Project Settings, если у вас фильм НЕ начинается с какой нибудь заставки в AVI файле то можно выбрать и Same as First Video Clip или MPEG Optimizer, в Моём случае когда в фильме присутствуют файлы другого формата, да к тому же фильм именно с них и начинается (ну заставка в AVI Uncompressed), то мне подходят только два варианта: Same as Project Settings и Custom.
Нажмите Сохранить для начала рендеринга.
Сразу после этого появится шкала прогресса рендеринга с надписью Creating file, и шкала прогресса не будет подавать ни малейших признаков работы программы также около 10 минут, поэтому не запускаем ни какие другие программы и лучше оставить компьютер в покое.
Минут через 10 (зависит от длинны фильма (в моём случае около 1 час 20 минут)) программа наконец начнёт Rendering и шкала прогресса сдвинется с места, при этом на экране в процессе рендеринга будут показываться ТОЛЬКО те участки фильма которые нуждаются в перекодировке (так на пример: Мои заставки AVI, Клипы с изменённой скоростью воспроизведения, фотографии и места стыков клипов на которые были наложены переходы)
По окончанию рендеринга вы должны получить готовый фильм с максимально сохранённым качеством видео (благодаря SmartRendering т.е. целые участки клипов не будут пересчитываться) ОДНАКО скорее всего мы получим рассинхрон аудио и видео, поскольку аудио трек получается короче чем видео.
Чтобы исправить РАССИНХРОН аудио, нужно замультиплексировать фильм в MKV, но сначала необходимо вывести отдельно фильм в аудио файл длина которого будет равна длине фильма (в то время как длина аудио в отрендренном видеофайле получается на несколько секунд короче видео).
6. Чтобы вывести фильм в Аудио файл перейдите на вкладку Share и нажмите Create Sound File, на этот раз программа нас приятно удивит отсутствием зависания.
Оставляем настройки по умолчанию, вводим имя аудио файла желательно с названием фильма, серии, версии редактора, чтобы потом не запутаться и нажимаем Сохранить.
После того как вывод фильма в Аудио файл завершится у нас будет видеофайл со встроенным рассинхронным аудио и отдельный аудиофайл который должен получится такой же длины как и видео. Теперь остаётся их мультиплексировать
Для этого нам понадобится MKVToolNix (я использовал 64-bit версию 6.7.0), после установки вам будет предложено установить ещё два компонента, но для нашей операции они не нужны, поэтому забивать систему лишним софтом не будем.
7. Запускаем mkvmerge GUI (из пакета MKVToolNix)
Нажимаем в нём кнопку Добавить и выбираем наш видеофайл со встроенным рассинхронным аудио и отдельный аудиофайл и нажимаем Открыть.
Эти файлы добавятся в программу mkvmerge GUI и в окне Дорожки, Главы теги мы увидим их как две аудио дорожки и одну видео дорожку.
8. Выбираем Видеодорожку и нажимаем Вверх, чтобы поднять её на первую верхнюю позицию.
Затем снимаем птичку с аудиодорожки которая была встроена в видео (чтобы понять что это именно та дорожка — у неё должно быть расширение видеофайла (имя файла и расширение указано в этой же строке))
9. Всё готово к началу мультплексирования осталось только нажать кнопку Начать обработку
После этого начнётся мультиплексирование аудио и видео в MKV файл, причём аудио первоначально встроенное в наш видеофайл с рассинхроном, включено в MKV не будет, что позволит сэкономить не много места.
Процесс мультиплексирования для часового фильма идёт всего несколько минут, после чего вы получаете готовый к просмотру фильм без рассинхрона аудио и тормозов при перемотке (которые имели место после вывода из VideoStudio).
Напомним ещё раз что приемуществом данного способа является МАКСИМАЛЬНОЕ сохранение качества исходного видео, благодаря тому, что перекодировались только те участки которые непосредственно были изменены, а целые куски видео без изменений так и были выведены без перекодировки!

I copied the files over. I opened Ulead and tried to open the project I was working on. So it wanted me to Relink, which I did. But I got the error message: File format mismatch [16803:1:2] I checked the Smart Proxy.So I copied the files back to the old computer. I can open up the project with no problems.

I have just download and installed Corel VideoStudio Pro X4. Mainly with the expectation I could import and work with MTS file formats.
However I’ve gone to import them and it comes back with a file format mismatch error. This doesn’t make any sense to me, as I read up on it and thought the program could work with these files.

In VideoStudio X4 (SP1), I am trying to import an edited (VSX4) project into the library in order to use parts of it in a different project. This is something I have done successfully before but the last couple of times I have tried I get the message: “Unable to open file. File format mismatch”. I took the pictures with my Canon G9, but I also took video with my G9 and strangely enough the video will import and play. I have just installed VideoStudio Pro X5 on my computer and have not been able to open any videos in it due to ‘file mismatch error.mp4’.So I went online to search for fixes and came across the patches. I downloaded BOTH but only pack TWO would work for me.When trying to install pack 1 (of COURSE the most important) I get this error message:
«The installed version of the application could not be determined. The setup will now terminate» EVERY single time I retried it, this is all I got. Pack 2 went off without a hitch and installed perfectly.

My other concern was and still is the fact that some of my old raw MP4 video clips can not be directly imported into VSX4 TBYB as they could when I tried VSX3 TBYB version before I ended up deferring, so I am wondering whether this only applies to the VSX4 TBYB seeing VSX3 TBYB had no problems? or is that another major issue that Corel just cant get right, what with only the occasional version capable of working with all multimedia files out there..
Which reminds me is anybody else noticing a significant contrast and detail loss even after smart rendering with VSX4? or is this only because I am using a TBYB version and thus full 25 Mbit Rendering is available in the Ultimate version?

When I try to create a WMV HD 1280×720 file, VSX2 tries to use this:

When I try to create a CUSTOM profile, only WMV 8 profiles are shown. No WMV 9 or Ulead profiles.

VideoStudio :: Cannot Seem To Get ULEAD 10 SE To Work
I bought a SABRENT USB-AVCPT video capture device that came bundled with ULEAD Video Studio 10 SE, and after loading the Windows 7 install kit, loaded it and have been pulling my hair out ever since.
Computer: Sony VIAO 64 bit, 3.4ghz dual core, 4GB main memory.
(1) Audio Input keeps constantly switching back to Microphone, even though the video stays on the USB Capture device. If I do ANYTHING, like stop a capture to double-check the captured file by playing it back, the display will still show the USB Audio but the capture is coming from the microphone. (It’s rather frustrating to have 93 minutes of very fine video but 93 minutes of the gardener and the lawnmower, breakfast conversation, etc.)
(2) Attempts to change the Video Capture to 720×480, rather than the default 640×480, will quite often result in crashes, or in «Illegal function» error messages that cause AppCrash, or, if the app doesn’t crash, it switches the sound back to Microphone and drops the video back to default.
(3) I cannot get it to let me capture any COMPRESSED video formats. So a 90 minute video ends up in a 105GB AVI file. (Previous discussion in here, with Ken Barry, if my memory (not on the video card!) is working right, indicated that this humongous file size might be the problem. But if I can’t get it to capture something and compress it. ) None of the other capture formats seem to work without Illegal Function, Illegal Function, and an AppCrash.
VideoStudio :: Remove All Ulead Files
When I puschase the Diamond video capture device, it came with Ulead VideoStudio 10 SE. This program would not work in Windows 7
I tried to uninstall it, but I guess I did not do it correctly. A file is still running. It has to do with Windows color sheme.
After starting computer up, a window appears saying something like Windows color sheme has been changed to 7 basic. Because (and I can’t recall all the words, but it has to do with a Ulead file still running)
I would like to completely remove any Ulead files still occupying space in the computer. If I knew where the file might recide I could go into the registry and delete it.

when trying to download movie from Sony camcorder everything appears fine until Video Studio program stops camcorder on its own and displays unknown error. This sometimes happens after 30, 40 even 50 minutes, but I have yet to be able to download entire 60 minute tape to computer. I am trying to convert Digital 8 movies to DVD.
Can not preview audio of any kind. Audio works AFTER rendering, but not in VS11.5. HAve uninstalled and reinstalled software to no avail. I assume a codec issue, but don’t want to install the wrong codec pack.

I have been using different versions of Ulead for over 20 years! In the past I was able to save an image in JPEG format on my desktop after saving the clip as an image in the library. Now when I save it to the desktop it only saves it as a «uvs file» which is not recognized by photo editing software
