Muse Dash – это ритм-аркада, совместившая в себе интересный геймплей, море красивой японской музыки, отличное оформление и широкое разнообразие по всем направлениям. Вас ждут музыкальные уровни, веселье и не только…
Никакого сюжета, к сожалению, в Muse Dash нет, но он и не пригодится, ведь вся суть игры заключается в прохождении музыкальных уровней и открытии огромного количества контентных дополнений. Вы будете проходить уровни, открывать доступы к новым композициям, преодолевать преграды, прыгать между различными пиктограммами и просто веселиться.
В целом игровой процесс основывается на очень необычных механиках. Первая и самая главная, это управление, которое придется освоить сразу же, буквально на первых уровнях, ведь в противном случае с каждым разом вам будет все сложнее и сложнее проходить новые уровни. К слову, вам не придется использовать какие-то особые комбинации нажатия клавиш или что-то вроде того. Здесь все управление основывается на выживании клавиш в соответствии с ритмами, которые вы будете слышать. Вторая же механика. Это как таковая прокачка, основанная на открытии нового контента, которого, к слову, здесь более, чем предостаточно. Ну а третья, это прохождение уровней…
Казалось бы, все довольно просто, но на самом деле вам придется очень сильно попотеть, проходя многочисленные уровни. Где-то ритм будет настолько быстрым, что вы попросту не будете успевать выжимать нужные клавиши, а где-то и вовсе придется преодолевать различные препятствия, вроде циркуляционных пил, которые будут появляться в самые неожиданные моменты. В общем, придется очень нелегко.
Но зато в вашем распоряжении будет целых три красавицы-героини, и на каждую из них вы сможете получить несколько новых костюмов, различные бонусы, новые приемы и не только. Три девушки, множество музыкальных треков, веселая музыка и очень интересный геймплей – в общем, скучать тут точно не придется.

Where are they? Are they all included in Just As Planned?
Will all future DLC be included in Just As Planned or will they be separate?
This is one of the many confusing side effects of it being a lazy mobile port. Great game, but better on mobile.
Your post history consists almost exclusively of troll posts.
The mobile version runs properly. None of the stuttering and bugs the Steam version has. I agree that the monolithic DLC pack is way better than buying songs individually.

On this simple guide I will explain how to get the hidden Achivements on Muse Dash! I’m not sure if there is or will be more hidden Achivements, so if you find more aside from these ones do let me know!
Hopefully we will get Steam achivements too!
Now without further ado let’s start
This achivement is really simple. Clear a Level 7+ song without collecting Red Hearts. Easy to do on the song MilK, since that song doesn’t have red hearts.
Clear a stage without knocking back enemies. (You can jumps over saws tho) I recomend doing this on a level 1 song, since its easier. You can also use Zombie Buro just to be sure!
This achivement consists of 2 parts:
Fail to clear a stage totally for 20 times. You will get this one eventually. Same rule as «Fall Down Again Where You Have Fell Down», where you can’t just enter a stage and die without playing.
If you thought the «C» achivement was annoying, behold! On this achivement you need to get D rank a total of 10 times! (Never thought this would be an achivement tbh lol)
Just pick an easy stage with Maid Marija or Zombie Boru and a healing pet, and try avoiding all beats. As long as you get Accuracy below 50% you are going to get a D.
This one is a fun one, fail to clear a level 7+ song by exhausting at the last note. Pick any level 7 song and just get hit, stay at low HP and get hit on the last note, that’s the easiest way to do it!
This is a painful one if you got it without even trying. Get 1 miss judgement in a Level 7+ song!
If you haven’t gotten it by now, congrats! It is really painful to miss a Full Combo for just 1 miss.
Something like this
This one can be tricky, you gotta get all perfects up until the end, and then get a great on the last note of a level 7+ song!
I recommend playing on a song that you can AP easily, you just gotta mess up at the last note intentionally
This one has 2 achivements as well!
Spring Carnival Master is a good and easy Level 7 to get this achivement on! Alternatively you can do it on Star Driver hard!
This is by far one of the hardest hidden Achivements in the game.

Although this one is unclear how it’s unlocked, it’s description says «Finish all stage achivements in Default Music». I got it while missing some stage achivements on the Default Music, so my guess is that it also counts the DLC’s stage achivements. Just clear as much Stage Achivements as you can!
Can you believe it? There is more achivements for failing stages!
For the All Defeated hidden achivement you are required to fail any stage with all the characters (Excluding Sleepwalker Rin). Similar to the other «Fail» achivements, you are required to play a bit of the song before actually failing it, so if you enter a stage and immediately die it won’t count!
As for the final hidden achivement I hope we have Invincible! You get this achivement once you have all the rest of the achivements unlocked. On my personal experience you only need to unlock the first stage of the achivement, meaning you will still get this achivement even if you are missing let’s say for example «Pinnacle of Life Lv10».

Let’s start with the most obvious situation right now. By now, you should already have this game in your Steam library before you have found this guide I made. But if you’re reading this and you don’t have the game yet, I’d say I recommend you owning it whenever you have the time or maybe you want to know more in-depth about this game. No need to panic about buying the game, the base game is only $2.99 on Steam or less when it’s on sale. You can purchase it right here.
This part is really important as it comes down to the wire with the specs based on your laptop or desktop. This game supports Windows and Mac, so if you’re a Windows person or a Mac person, you are definitely in luck. However, if you’re one of those people that are a Linux person, unfortunately there is no support for Linux users to play this game at all.

Once you’ve gotten the base game, another thing to take care of is the X.D. Network Account System. This is optional if you want your name to appear on the leaderboards in the game. As of September 29th, 2021, PeroPeroGames has developed Steam Trading Cards for Muse Dash. If you had bought the game a while back, you will get 4 trading cards automatically in your Steam Inventory. If you had bought the game recently, you will get 4 trading card drops. The trading cards you receive for Muse Dash will be completely random on both terms.

The game has also gotten collaboration from other rhythmic games or soundtracks. Here are all the games they’ve collaborated with Muse Dash to make it a fun experience by listening to all the tunes through our ears. Note: All collaboration soundtracks exist within the Just as Planned DLC, with a few exceptions.
Groove Coaster is a rhythmic game originally made as an arcade machine. Each song has their own difficulty, just like Muse Dash. You can play in three different aspect ratios: 16:9, 4:3, and 1:1. There are 58 songs in the base game while all the other songs are available to purchase as DLCs. You can customize your avatar, rank up in the leaderboards, and so much more. You can purchase the base game or including various DLCs in a bundle through the Steam page.
The volume adds in 6 more songs to Muse Dash, as well as a fourth character entering the roster named Yume. Refer to the Characters section for more details.

As for the songs that were once made originally for Muse Dash has gotten some ideal moves to have selected ones be distributed across other rhythmic games. Right here are the list of rhythmic games that has the songs from this game and maybe even trying these games out if you don’t own them yet.
MUSYNX is an anime rhythmic game containing various soundtracks with their own DLC expansion pack named «Forever Friends» adding more songs. When you select a song, you will have the option to change the speed, location, and even changing the bass sound if applicable to the song. Other DLC packs are skins to the layout of the interface when you select one in the level settings menu. You can play in two difficulty levels, Easy and Hard Mode, as well as playing with 4 Keys (D-F-J-K) or 6 Keys (S-D-F-J-K-L).
The songs from Muse Dash in MUSYNX are Pancake is Love, included in the base game, and This Club is Not 4 U, exclusive to the Forever Friends expansion pack.
I would also talk about the target demographics because why not? The game is targeted mainly for teens and no reason for younger children to play this game. The reason behind this is because there are some suggestive imagery within this game such as revealing clothing and suggestive poses. The description for the Teen rating is explained below:

Interestingly, Steam did not put the description as to why this game is given that rating by the ESRB other than showing the rating on the store page. So I decided to give you a heads-up about what kind of content this game has.
Although it is NOT required for you to have headphones, the game does tell you that you would have the best experience when playing Muse Dash. It can help you listen to the songs more clearly and the bass being more crisper than ever compared to your computer audio without the headphones. However, if you don’t have a pair of headphones or a headset, don’t worry about it. You can play the game normally without them.
Now let’s introduce the main characters for this game. The description I provide about them is what they normally wear before heading on to more stylistic clothing.
Rin
Rin is our starting character once you first start the game.
Appearance: She normally wears a white jacket, has blonde hair with pink hair dye, wears a shirt with a broken heart, a black strap around her neck, and a black-gray skirt.
Ability: The maximum HP levels of Rin increases by 30
Buro
Buro is up next. The cutest character of all (in my opinion).
Appearance: She normally wears goggles on her head, has pink hair with pigtails, wears a ninja-like suit with her bare skin exposing her stomach as well as a black semi-long-sleeve-shirt, a yellow skirt, and has a white bear by her side.
Ability: Schoolgirl Buro becomes invincible while bursting into Fever Mode

Marija
Marija is up last in our roster.
Appearance: She wears a cap, a suit resembling historic eras while looking modern, and has purple-blue dyed hair.
Ability: When combo is less than 100, Violinist Marija’s «Miss» judgement won’t interrupt the combo

Yume
Yume is another character in the game, but she doesn’t come from Muse Dash. She comes from another game called «Groove Coaster«. Refer to the Collab section for more details.
Appearance: She has orange-blonde hair with a headset glowing two holographic Groove Coaster logos on each side. She wears a white and orange dress and has a tablet controlling the songs as the player selects.
Ability: Navigator Yume from Groove Coaster. Obstacles (gears) will not harm her.
She is available to play once you’ve purchased the Just as Planned DLC.
Neko
Neko is another character included within the Just as Planned DLC, for she is a game streamer coming from the game «Cytus II«.
Appearance: She has purple-bronze hair with white cat ears, wears a purple jacket and a black shirt with a devilish-looking robo-cat. There are three robo-cats floating around her, as if they were her pets (or something..). She also wears shorts and black slacks (long socks).
Ability: The streamer from Cytus II, Neko. She will become invincible after her HP drops to 0. Your score will not be recorded if you clear the stage in this state. Yeah
a collab character that won’t die.
She is available to play once you’ve purchased the Just as Planned DLC.
Each character, with the exception of Yume and Neko, can wear different type of clothing and can have different power-up abilities to take action. Here is what it looks like:
Bad Girl Rin
What Rin goes as a bad girl is white hair instead of blonde with pink hair dye, a semi-jacket with her tops partially showing, wears a diamond necklace and black pants only reaching up to her thighs on the end. She carries around a black bat.
Ability: Bad Girl Rin can turn «Great» into «Perfect» judgements for 5 times
HP: 250
Sleepwalker Girl Rin
What Rin goes with this one is she has blonde hair with pink hair dye being all over the place, wears a pink robe and a bra and underwear. She has a pillow as well for. sleeping.
Ability: Sleepwalker Girl Rin will fight automatically in all stages and not be controlled by the player
HP: Unknown (although it’s proven to be 200)
Note: When you unlock and play this character, you will not earn a Full Combo at the very end of the level and it does not contribute to your score nor your ranking.
Bunny Girl Rin
What Rin goes on this one is a more of a mature-themed look as the clothing looks like it comes from a strip club. She wears bunny ears, a collar with a black bow-tie, and a revealing black suit. She also has a heart tattoo on her right cheek (from her perspective).
Ability: Bunny Girl Rin can get 200% more score when collecting Red Hearts (at maximum HP) and Notes, knocking back ghosts and dodging barriers

Christmas Gift Rin
Finally, we have Rin as a present. literally. Within this style, she wears a headband with green antlers, uses a gift present as a piece of clothing because she isn’t wearing anything. *ahem*. She uses a candy cane as a weapon and similar to Bunny Girl Rin, she has a heart tattoo on her face but it’s on her left side (from her perspective).
Ability: With Christmas Gift Rin clearing a stage, at most 5% accuracy can be added
HP: 250
Idol Buro
Heading off to different variations of clothing with Buro. For this one specifically, she wears a black suit with a bluish-gray tint vest, a white-collared shirt with a pink-red tie, has a microphone earpiece on her right (from her perspective), a black hat with a light-blue trim, and a light-blue skirt. Also, her pink-dyed hair is all straight down instead of pigtails. Her bear is a black-and-blue, electronic bear, or should I say «robo-bear».
Ability: Idol Buro gets 50% more EXP after clearing a stage
HP: 200
Zombie Girl Buro
This next clothing does not make her a literal zombie obviously. She wears a pink and yellow Summer Festival outfit, two yellow braids with each of them tied with her pink hair to go with a beautiful hairstyle, and her bear is colored a faint-greenish hue with what appears to be his Summer Festival outfit being black and red-pinkish. His eyes are red instead of black and has a «bookmark» in front of him with Japanese letters.
Ability: Zombie Girl can enter Dying Mode for 15 seconds when HP falls to the minimum. She cannot enter Dying Mode again if not collecting any red hearts after quitting the mode

Joker Buro
Now it may look and seem very suggestive with this clothing as it appears, but she wears a clown hat with some pink makeup on her face, a huge bow-tie with a yellow bear in the middle, two strings that attach to the torso and pants with two hearts being as buttons to the strings. In her view of perspective, the right side of her pants are short while her left is long. For her bear, let’s just say it decided to wear some clown makeup as well.
Ability: When combo reaches above 60/70, Joker Buro can get higher combo bonus scores
HP: 200
Sailor Suit Buro
For this final clothing of Buro’s clothes, this one looks traditional to the mandatory rules in Japanese schools. What she wears is a vibrant-blue kitty headset, a long-n’-short-sleeved uniform with an arm patch on her right arm (from her perspective) with a broken heart symbol, has her fingernails painted in pink, stylistic long pink socks and white shoes. Her bear is in a form of a robot which gives us anime vibes due to the design and color.
Ability: Sailor Suit Buro can continuously hit the marked enemies by holding the buttons
HP: 250
Note: To unlock the character, you must purchase the «Just as Planned» DLC to play her.
Maid Marija
For her as a maid, she wears a headband, two braids on her back of her head, a maid dress, has a collar around her neck with a black bow in the middle, two black sleeves with white «puffs» in their ends, holds a metal tray in her hands, a black skirt and wears high heels and slacks.
Ability: Maid Marija will gain 150% more HP and be invincible for 2 seconds upon collecting a Red Heart when HP is lower than 100
HP: 250
Magical Girl Marija
As for her Halloween costume from the looks of it, she wears a witch hat with cat ears, wears glasses, has a turtleneck and wears a black dress with a pink strap around her waist. She also has a black wristband on her left arm (from her perspective) and rides around with a broom.
Ability: Magical Girl Marija’s increasing speed of Fever is 20% faster
HP: 200
Little Devil Marija
For this one, as suggestive as it seems, she has two horns on her head, wears a dracula-like suit with a heart button in her center, has a long-sleeve on her right with a pointy end and a heart symbol, and a pink glove on her left. She also comes with wings and a tail, hence she is the little devil herself.
Ability: Little Devil Marija will get 25% more score when knocking back enemies at the expense of losing 10 HP per second
HP: 200
The Girl in Black Marija
Finally, in this particular outfit, Marija is all black and white with gray hair instead of vibrant light-blue, wears a black suit and has two black pods on her head, and sits on a black car. She also holds a black stick and uses it as a weapon against enemies in levels.
Ability: The girl in black can easily hit enemies and dodge barriers

Now that we have covered the characters and their variety of clothing, let’s dive in with these little adorable creatures. I’m going to be explaining their names and their power-ups. There are a total of 8 different elfins to choose from.

Dragon Girl

Dragon Girl will help you get 30% more score when knocking back boss attacks
Lilith
Ability
Lilith will help you get 5% more score with each «Perfect». When Lilith and Little Devil Marija are together, Marija will restore 2 HP upon each «Perfect» judgement and with each blue music note collected
When you first start the game, the tutorial will come up first and will teach you the ropes on how to play, so just to give out a brief explanation about controls, here it is.
By default, the two keys are «F» and «J» on your keyboard or «D» and «K». However, there are other configurations you can set up, even customizing it to however you want. If you want to know how to configure the options on how you want to play it, here’s how:
Press «Tab» or «O»
Navigate the «Settings» menu and click on «Controls»
From there, you can switch through sections of button configurations to how you want to play it or keep going through the sections until you see the controls that are completely empty and ready to be customized.
You can learn some more hotkeys by clicking the «Other Buttons» option in the Controls section. From there, you will get a pop-up showing all the different hotkeys you can try out and see if it makes your navigation much easier than how you would normally.
If you’re using a game controller (XBOX 360/One/Series X, PS3/PS4 (DualShock) /PS5 Controller (DualSense), Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, Generic Controller):
Click on the «Joystick» option
From there, you have four different options to choose from and select one configuration you feel comfortable playing with.
With the Spring Update 2021 here and onward, we wonder how to navigate the main menu with its new fresh look right on our eyes. This part will show you how you can flow through these features without having any difficulties whatsoever.
There are certain soundtracks to go through and to play. To look at certain tracks in their specific genre, press «Q» and you will see a list of soundtracks the game listed.
If you want to focus on a particular difficulty, whether you want to go chill or to go full master with your rhythmic abilities, press «E» and you will see a list of all the difficulties or star ratings they’ve sorted out. The list goes from 1-11 on Star Ratings. Select one option and the game will sort out all the songs with those Star Ratings.
Maps are another thing that’s astonishing to the art style of the game. There are 4 maps in a variety of each song. They all depend on the song and tone. There are 3 others included but not in the base game itself. Refer back to the «Just as Planned» DLC section for more details.
Here is a list of maps with pictures that are in the base game and the Just as Planned DLC.
For each song with a few exceptions, there are three difficulty levels: Easy, Hard, and Master. Easy is your most basic option to start with. Once you start getting the use to hitting the targets at a certain beat, then you can move on to more challenging difficulties with that same song. For you to unlock the Master difficulty, you must complete Hard mode to unlock it and achieve an S rank.
There are also Star Ratings on each difficulty there is. They rate how difficult the level is itself. This will depend on your timing, judgement, skill, and your reflexes to see if you’re up to the challenge. It also depends on the speed, lyrics, and rhythm of the songs in each volume.
If you really enjoy a song that you find catchy or up-beat to your ears or both, you can add them as a favorite. To do that, click on the heart icon right at the bottom of the screen left from the Star Ratings.
Playing a song based on the difficulty you’ve chosen also depends on how accurate you hit the enemies, barriers, and the boss attacks at a certain beat. It’s all about consistency and rhythm you develop and learn as you keep playing the same level over and over. Here are a few secrets about these timings:
To obtain a 100% accuracy, you must hit ALL the enemies, barriers, and the boss attacks with a «Perfect» judgement, pass through the gears and hazards, and not take a single hit. After the level is finished and you’ve done everything well and gotten all «Perfect» judgements, you should get a 100% accuracy on the Results screen as shown here.
This happens when you have gotten «Great» or «Miss» judgements throughout the level. It also happens when you get hit by enemies, barriers, gears, or not timing your judgement too well and overthinking. When this happens, your accuracy will start to deplete and continue on if you keep getting «Great» or «Miss» judgements, receiving damage by enemies and obstacles, etc.
Full Combo is more of an accomplishment per-say. It basically means that you have hit all the enemies, barriers, and boss attacks with either a «Perfect» or «Great» judgement without taking any damage whatsoever. If you receive a «Miss» judgement or take damage by any means, you won’t receive a Full Combo.
Fever Mode is a short-length cycle that occurs every time the Fever Meter is filled up. Fever Mode usually lasts about 5 seconds, although equipped with the Mio Sir elfin and you’ll alter the longevity of Fever Mode for 2 more seconds, resulting in a 7-second Fever Mode time.
If you play with Magical Girl Marija, the Fever Meter will fill up faster than normal. It all depends on how many enemies, barriers, hammers, and boss attacks are there in each song.
Equipped with the Little Witch elfin and you’ll be getting approximately 20% more points while in Fever Mode. This can be beneficial with Bunny Girl Rin and Joker Buro since those two characters can help you reach higher scores than normal.
The trophies shining gold means that you’ve earned the Stage Achievement while the ones do not means that you have yet to earn them.
Although they are called «Achievements» in the Achievement section in the Options menu, they have trophies that you can collect. They act similarly with how you obtain Steam Achievements in other games had they contain any and earning «Stage Achievements» in each song.
To look at your «Trophies section» to see what you have, hit «Tab» and head on to the fifth section called «Achievement«. From there, you would see a list of all the achievement trophies you’ve collected throughout the game. Some achievement trophies will have more trophies than one, depending on how you’re going to collect them. This would also help you gain more EXP and level up.
Not only does the game come with their own rewards but provide us some challenges too. In the game, you’ll be given up to 3 challenges to complete to earn more EXP and level up. If you complete at least one challenge or happen to complete all three at once, a timer will show you in the «Achievement» section in the Options menu for when the next challenge arrives.
The game can also confirm the completion of the challenges by showing you a pop-up with a green check-mark on how many challenges you’ve completed. It’ll show you at the end of whatever song you’re playing.
This game also has the intentions of inserting in secrets within. Sometimes it’s pretty tough to find them while others are easy as taking a slice of cake. They can go from hiding certain difficulty levels to adding certain aspects to the background. Here are some twists and turns as to how I found out their discoveries within this game.
Bad Girl Rin’s «Perfect» judgement non-existent for Hold Sheet Notes
Bad Girl Rin’s ability can turn a «Great» judgement into a «Perfect» judgement 5 times in total throughout a song. The effect only works on Small Enemies and Big Enemies. Hold Sheet Notes won’t accept the ability whatsoever, so you’ll have to time them perfectly to get a «Perfect» judgement.
Hidden Difficulties
In the menu, there is one option in the Difficulty List and that is Star Rating 11. When selected, only one song is specified, but there are other songs that have this rating as well. One of them being Twinkle*Magic, and that is by clicking the Master difficulty button multiple times to unlock it. After you play that hidden difficulty, the difficulty resets to its original rating.
According to some users across the Steam platform who own this game and the official Discord server, there exists a Star Rating of 12. If you happened to find the songs that have the Star Rating of 12 hidden, let me know in the comments section below.
A Hidden Level in Starting Screen
The Spring Festival 2021 update included two new start screens with one showing the cute animated art style of the trio in their own band and the other showing Rin watching Neko from Cytus II stream. On the lower left, there is a tablet that will go off for at least about 10 seconds. Click on the phone icon and it will bring up the hidden level as shown here.
Note that the Stage Achievements for this song is non-existent as depicted with a 0/0 description. Whatever achievement it tells you to achieve it for this song, it’s only a dud and you will not receive it at the end of the song regardless.

Cheat Scores
There are various songs where you’ll see scores unusually higher than normal in the leaderboards. This is basically a cheat score where you would jump to conclusions and consider it to be. You can report the cheat score to the official Muse Dash Discord server by taking a screenshot of it and present it to the «Report A Cheat Score» channel. Here is an example of what it looks like.

Missing the Ghost’s Targets
Normally when the Ghosts appear, they start to vanish when it gets close to the targets and by that time, you’d hit them off. If you tend to miss a Ghost, the game would not count it as a «Miss» judgement nor will it inflict you with any damage.
If you’re finding it difficult to catch up with the beats or somehow the rhythm is not syncing in you, there is an Offset tool you can apply for the game. To get there, click on «Tab» and select Offset. From there, there will be a drum beat played in the background. There is a yellow line that endlessly moves left to right of your screen. What you’re trying to do is to get the yellow line to sync in with the white line to the beat.
You have the option of hiding the yellow line by pressing the «Enter» key and focus on listening to the beat. Once you feel like the yellow line is in beat at a specific spot, you can adjust the white to where the specific spot was. After that, you should be good to go. However, if you adjust it way far off to the left or right, this would definitely throw off your balance when you play the songs.
When it comes to illustrations or artworks in games, you get to see many behind the scenes of how they developed the game, the characters, the bosses, and many more. With this one, you get to see vibrant, colorful artwork with the trio in typical scenarios. To collect them, complete a song and gain experience to level up. Each time you level up, you get a piece of «artwork fragments» I call them. You must have 5 to unlock each illustration.
Once you’ve collected all 5, go to the Settings and head to the fourth section titled «Trove». From there, you should see not only the valuables of the pieces used to unlock each character but all the artworks that you’ve obtained.
